why we started bloody brilliant bookshop
just a small town girl
Bloody Brilliant Bookshop was created because at my core I am a mood reader and I so often read exclusively one trope for weeks at a time
my horror girl
while she is much more low-key than myself, Alex our other owner was a much more casual reader a few years ago, so I would often give her reading lists based on my favourite tropes, which sparked the idea for us

while I love big box bookstores and indie stores like any reader, it became really important to us that we offer a blend of indie and traditional published books. So many people miss out on amazing stories because local bookstores don’t always stock them
